XPS Insulation

XPS INSULATION (Extruded polystyrene) insulation is a rigid, closed cell structure with unique properties such as low thermal conductivity, high resistance to water penetration and high compressive strength. XPS insulation acts as thermal insulation and backing for the ADEX-HC exterior insulation & finish system (EIFS).

• R 5.0/inch (RSI 0.88) tested at 25°C [75F°].
• Meets CAN/ULC-S701, Type 3 standards.
• Low water absorption and high compressive strength.
• Available in a variety of thicknesses.
• Requires mechanical fastening.
